En misstänkt alkoholpåverkad trafikant vägrade blåsa i polisens sållningsinstrument

En misstänkt alkoholpåverkad man i 60-årsåldern, som satt bakom ratten i en lätt lastbil på Storgatan i Ruda vid 23-tiden på fredagskvällen, vägrade blåsa i polisens sållningsinstrument.

Mannen, som är misstänkt för rattfylleri, medtogs för provtagning på sjukhus, berättar Evelina Olsson, presstalesperson i polisregion syd, på lördagsmorgonen.

Uppdatering, måndag:

Polisen berättar att mannen hade 1,0 promille alkohol i blodet.

En anmälan om rattfylleri är upprättad och körkortet omhändertogs på platsen.

Mannen bor i Högsby kommun.
